From the Back Cover

Things are finally getting better for Laura Duffy. Kind of.

Despite nursing a broken jaw, Laura is finding a good balance between God, friends, school, and family. But something is happening at Panama Beach High School that is going to rattle every part of Laura’s life.

A group of new students has arrived whose olive skin and awkward accents draw unwelcome attention from the school’s angriest group of burnouts. No one is sure where the new kids came from, why they don’t seek friends, or why a bully named Wolf is making their lives so difficult.

As tensions rise, Laura finds herself wanting to help, but is frustrated by God’s seeming silence. And just when it looks like the tides have turned, things get much, much worse.

Join Laura as she struggles to figure out how to be friends with outsiders, extend grace to enemies, and make sense of events that can do far more damage than a broken jaw.

I LOVED this book!!! =) It was very good. Even though I didn't love the first one I decided to read the rest of them anyways. I really liked the way Ms. Rue laid out this story. I do recommend reading these books in order because I accidentally bought this one which is the third one thinking it was the second one without reading the second one. The reason I recommend that is because I had no idea who her new friend Stevie was or why she had a broken jaw. So you should definitely read them in order. But anyways about the book Laura is trying to befriend and defend Jewish teenagers that come to her school from Israel. But a lot of kids hate them for really no good reason. And that is where the battle begins. Long story short Laura helps a guy who ultimately tried to kill the Jewish teens and himself. Then she and friends set out to stop the hate in their generation. But a few questions for me were left unanswered. Like why does ponytail boy keep appearing repeatedly? WHO IS PONYTAIL BOY? And what happened to the Wolf Boys? But I imagine Ms. Rue will answer them the next book. Can't wait to read it!!! =D I absolutely recommend this book to anyone and everyone!

Her jaw still wired together, Laura Duffy is at it again. A large group of new students with dark skin have joined Laura's school, and a few kids aren't too happy about it. After Laura and her friends witness one too many hateful things, they decide to take action against the racial and religious prejudice in their school. Laura gets to know one of the new girls and learns a world about what Jews in Israel go through every day. She realizes that the only way to stop the hate is to unite against it with love. When the terrorization peak and someone very close to Laura is involved, can she remain strong in her faith that love is the only answer?
Laura Duffy has crazy faith that inspires. It shows that no matter what the circumstances, God will always be with you, and all you have to do is trust and serve.
