Warm, rich music, October 20, 2004

Each of these two CDs have over 75 minutes of music. Together with volume two of this series, the chamber music aficionado has the opportunity to collect all of Faure's chamber music on just 4 discs. Each disc in volume one has over 75 minutes of music and features all of Faure's violin sonatas, cello sonatas, romances, piano trio, fantasy for flute & piano, and various other other pieces with piano and violin. All pieces on this set feature the piano.
The liner notes are not first class, however, and there are only about two paragraphs of notes.
