Good Sunday morning music,

I play the Requiem "just because." This was recommended by NPR as a beautiful, delicate, multi-layered performance. I ignore the other pieces, for the most part. Miss Bonney, in pitch and timbre and technique, was the perfect choice for the soprano part. Mr. Hagegĺrd has a new fan, too. :)

The Requiem is a beautiful, gentle composition, and Barbara Bonney's voice is a gorgeous soprano on her solo pieces.
