Excellent buy, October 20, 2004

Each of these two CDs have over 78 minutes of music. Together with volume one of this series, the chamber music aficionado has the opportunity to collect all of Faure's chamber music on just 4 discs. The discs in this set have both of Faure's piano quartets and both piano quintets as well as his only string quartet which was published posthumously. In fact, the string quartet was the only piece that Faure composed which did not have a piano part.
The liner notes are not first class, however, and there are only about two paragraphs of notes.
