We had our twins 12/20/04 and brought them home on a very cold day. Fortunately, I had received this product (times two!) at my baby shower. It keeps the babies warm, and the pouch can be folded in so their heads don't get chilly. Plus, we've received so many compliments on these covers! People always ask where we got them.

I purchased the posh pouch at the very end of pregnancy after searching and searching for a newborn snowsuit or bunting jacket (just couldn't find one!) I had my daughter on St Patricks Day, the tail end of winter. I found that if I dressed my daughter in a long-sleeve outfit with a little zip or button up jacket or sweater she was fine in the posh pouch, even on the cold days. It keeps the air off of her and is easily unzipped once in the car or wherever else. It fit fine on the carseat, and I could still pull/ push the handle up/back as needed without interference from the posh pouch which was nice. The concern that I have is that it sits on my babys face sometimes. It doesn't work like in the picture with the childs head right under the hole! Through all of my adjusting and readjusting I find that I have to check every so often to make sure the pouch is lifted away from her face. Or when it's unzipped, that the sides don't do the same thing. Not a horribly big deal but an unnerving one for a new parent in the car with a new baby!

Overall I think it's a great idea and a good product and I still use it sometimes now, in May, to keep the wind & sun off of my baby between the house and the car!

I brought my son home in the coldest month Chicago had in years. This bunting was a lifesaver - I never worried about him being too cold or overheating, it keeps him nice and snuggly. It fits right over the car seat (we have a Graco SnugRide) with no problem.

The best thing about this bunting is it only goes OVER the car seat, not underneath the baby, so it doesn't interfere with the safety of the seat - nothing comes between the baby and the straps. Also, there's less chance of the baby overheating that way.

I don't know why anyone would buy a BundleMe when this product is available - it's cheaper and safer!

The product is good. It's great. I bought it because we live in the northeast and my daughter cried each time I put her coat on to go anywhere. Once she got into the car seat, everything was fine, but she really didn't like getting into a coat. I thought that if I could put her in and just zip this up, she'd be less upset.

Well, it worked, she was less upset about getting into the carset and the whole deal. But it turns out that once she was in the car, this product wouldn't let her see out the window, it blocked much of the view that she had before because it doesn't tuck back in.

We're back to using coats.

Just something to consider.

This has been wonderful for a cold weather new baby, it keeps the cold out, you can fold it up to keep out rain or snow and it seems to keep strangers grimy hands off of the baby as he is nestled deep into the carrier and covered by the kiddopatamus. We get more comments on this cover, people stop us in the mall to ask where we got it.

This is the first review I've ever written, but I like this thing so much, I felt like I needed to review it!

My baby girl was born in November and after fussing with blankets to try to keep her covered and warm for about 2 weeks, I purchased the Posh Pouch. We are LOVING it.

No more bundling her all up just to have to disturb her when we arrive at our destination by taking off jackets, etc. We just put her in her regular clothes, put her in the carseat, zip her up and go. She stays toasty warm. If it is really cold, we do have to put a light blanket over the face opening while outside because the "collar" has some gaps in it when folded up, but there have only been a couple of times we've had to do that.

I can't go ANYWHERE without people commenting on this thing. They love the way it looks, thinks it's a great idea, wish they'd had it for their kids, etc. My husband thought it was a little "over the top" at first, but when he found out how much I paid for it and heard sooo many other parents comment on what a great idea it was, he changed his tune and bought one for a friend who just had a baby. :)

this thing is great. keeps the baby warm in cold weather. i esp. like how it wraps around the top, over her head. this keeps the wind out; it also enables me to pull the shade down further to keep wind and sun out of her face while still knowing the top of her head is protected.

it does tend to get warm, however. but the elastic of the product makes taking the cover off or putting it on a breeze.

highly recommended. besides, it's super cute and we get many positive comments when where out.

I loved this item when I used it on my daughter's car seat. I got so many compliments on how neat it looked. Though it does look like I collected points from Marlboro cigarettes to get it. It also caused the seat to get stuck on the base. It kept my daughter very warm and that is the most important thing. That is why it deserves five stars.

I received this item as my sister had insisted I place it on my Registry before my daughter was born. I wasn't so sure about it. And did the same thing as your doing. I looked for reviews on it. I was going to take it back to get something else, but when I decided to use it I was so glad I didn't take it back. It was by far one of the best things I ever got. It's easy to use, convienent, and best of all.. It kept my daughter warm as if I had bundled her in a blanket and held her.

As for why you looking at reviews. I would have to say I am giving this product a great review. I loved it. The zipper feature is a great idea. It was easy to put her in the car seat and zip up the warmth. I would recommend this item to you and all new mommies. It's a GREAT ITEM!!!

I liked this carrier cover a lot, but if I were buying over again, I'd get the kind that has two zippers. This one also only goes over, not all the way around your child inside the carrier. Still, it did what we needed it to do and was much more convenient than fussing with blankets.
