The book is a gold mine for professionals, their clients, and students. The strenths of this book are numerous. At the price, this book is a bargain when you consider that you receive a plethora of insights from eminent professionals from the U.S. and abroad, all located in one book.

More About the Author

I love to write books and produce audio programs and I think you'll love reading or listening to them. My style has been dubbed as "reader friendly" meaning you'll feel like we're sitting down for lunch having a conversation with each other. Or as my college students put it: "We know your books aren't ghost written Dr. Rosenthal. They are lively, humorous, and sound just like you in class."

I don't believe that education needs to be dry, dull, or boring and my materials go on to prove it. I receive e-mails also daily from counselors thanking me for helping them to secure the credentials they need to practice their craft. It's the greatest feeling in the world.

Several of my works allow you to step into the offices of the finest therapists in the world as they reveal the intricacies of their favorite counseling and therapy techniques, strategies, or homework assignments.

You can use my materials to help others by helping yourself. It's really that simple!

Have a great day.

Dr. Howard Rosenthal

This review is from: Favorite Counseling and Therapy Homework Assignments: Leading Therapists Share Their Most Creative Strategies (Paperback)
I was hoping for some fresh ideas using homework assignments in my private practice counseling setting, however I didn't find this text to be particularly useful. While some of the entries were interesting, I don't think the examples would be easily generalized.
