Favorite Country HitsGive this 10 stars! Put it your CD player, kick back, relax and enjoy the best music. Floyd Cramer is a master at his work and his enjoyment of his work shows in every note. This would make an excellent gift for anyone who loves the best of the best music.

Floyd Cramer is a classic! Demonstrated here through his earlier works, this is the grass roots of country music during the 60's and 70's. A must have for all country music enthusiast!

The CD is very good, longer than usual which is not bad if you insert the shuffle-repeat and hear it as wonderful background music. Quality of the recording is good, all full STEREO.

Magnificent CD. Floyd is a master at the piano and plays these great classic country tunes like no other. This is one of those CD's that never get boring and is great to relax with. Highly recommended!

Floyd Cramer is the piano what Ace Cannon is to the Sax. All songs on this CD are great classics.

S.T. 37 is perfect to use when you come home after shopping to rinse/gargle for germs. Use on burns and for sore throat.

This is not early Floyd Cramer. This is a small sample of Floyd during his halcyon days at RCA Victor Records. To truly go back to early Floyd Cramer, you'd have to return to his 1953-1957 recordings. Two singles on Abbott Records and then his eight releases for MGM Records. To tell the truth, I don't even know if those recordings are even available. I can't think of any bad Floyd Cramer recordings. There certainly are no clunkers in this little package. The man was incredible, a studio musician who recorded on 100's (if not 1,000's) of hits by other artists and yet no one was better as a solo artist than Floyd. Buy this CD knowing that you will not be disappointed. This would rate four stars if it filled out the CD to nearly the full 80 minutes available on a disc.

Good CD, Floyd Cramer's piano playing as sparkling as ever. Not so the arrangements, which although pleasant enough, are too 'middle of the road' lacking the bite of Cramer's 60s originals. The evergreen 'Last Date' appears to be the original cut but the others sound like more recent recordings - 'Hey Good Looking' is definitely not how I remember it. It had an imaginative bass part, completely lacking here. I suspect that can only be obtained if you can find Floyd's 'I remember Hank Williams' album, which does not seem to be out on CD.

This CD is so disappointing. I would liken it to elevator music. It's just so bland. I really, really liked Floyd Cramer back in the 1960's. He was turning out some of the best music ever !!
This CD is like outakes from other recording sessions. Save your money !!! I wish I had mine back.
