This book contains the most beautiful, traditional Czech stories and has delightful illustrations. I'll be reading it to my baby soon!

I have taught third through fifth grades, and I used this book when educating children about the differences in folktales around the world. My students loved this book. The stories were clear and easy to read, with enough of a thread to Western European tales to make them recognizable.
As a reader ... I also enjoyed these as well, but they are mostly for children.
