3.0 out of 5 stars May require improvising... May 6, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Not all of the recipes in this book provide amounts with the ingredients list. The ingredients are listed, along with the order they need to added, or which step they need to be added, but there is not an amount (tbsp, tsp, cups, etc) listed. So, as long as you do not mind improvising, or if you are a good enough cook to know, or make a good guess, on what amount will be needed, you should be all right. Not all of the recipes are like that, and many do have the amounts listed. But, you will come across some that do not!

The table of contents is interactive, which is nice. Overall, there seem to be recipes in this book for both beginner and advanced cooks, so everyone can find something to try.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Down Home Recipes! February 23, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book is packed with tons of great recipes! I'm normally a picky eater who usually has trouble finding books with more than one or two recipes that I want to try. This book has several! Definitely one that would be a great addition to any Kindle collection! Awesome job Kent!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Book Filled With Great Recipes February 17, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I love this book of recipes from someone who is around food all day. But they aren't complicated recipes, they are good, down home recipes. They are also very well categorized so it is easy to find what you want. This book will make you take your Kindle into the kitchen!
