This is a wonderfully amazing album. I happened to stumble upon "My Favorite Place to Drown" a little over an hour ago and after hearing just a few songs, I bought and listened to the album in it's entirety. Michael Leviton is an amazing musician/singer who has produced an incredible album. I look forward to any future albums he releases. I would also recommend listening to the new Scary Mansion album "Every Joke is Half the Truth". (The lead singer is the Leah Hayes who accompanied Leviton on My Favorite Place to Drown).

The sweetest voice. Makes me think of some of the Beatle's ballads. Cute lyrics, I don't know whether to laugh, stare off in dream land, hum, smile, or think back and feel young again. Maybe all of the above. Can we make requests? Some tearjerkers. Your heart and soul are already so deeply in your music. You could so easily reach the heartbroken and make them smile again. Regardless, thanks for the light hearted tunes that add smiles and light into the world. There is such a shortage of goodness and kindness that you so easily deliver. Thanks!

Sweet, old-fashioned romance, with a very cynical sense of humor. The songs are great for relaxing but only the last track comes close to being dance-able.
