The Banjo Kings Favorites CD,
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Favorites (Audio CD)
This CD showcases the most popular Banjo players that surfaced during the Banjo revival of the 1950's & 60's. Dick Roberts & Red Roundtree were the "Banjo Kings" in more than just the name. They were imitated, but never equaled or surpassed. If you have never listened to this catagory of music you should give it a try - you might be pleasantly surprised and find yourself taping your toes to the beat, and maybe even wanting to get up and dance. It's a highly infectuous happy style that will brighten your day
