Most of us are familiar with Burl Ives as the voice of the talking snowman from Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer. Ives was a gifted entertainer and musician - this collection is unique among children's CD's - it offers a story paired with the song that either inspired it or came from it. Fun to listen to and different from other items in your collection.

These stories and songs take me back to my childhood. I loved them then and they're just as good now. The Very Scary Witch story sort of scared me as a child, but the funny song that went with it made it seem ok. The Taylor and the Mouse is just touching. So good.
