A wonderful series for all ages,

My Aunt first introduced us to the Smithsonian Backyard series when my daughter was born in '94. Fawn at Woodland way came with a mini-sized animal to go along with the reading. Since then, many more titles have come out, and a couple of them also offer the stuffed animal. I have purchased six of these books for gifts and the kids all loved them. The stories are touching and the illustrations are beautiful. They have made perfect gifts for my daughter's friends' birthdays!
