Book Description

August 2003
September 11, 2001 shocked the entire world as millions watched airplanes crash into the World Trade Center killing thousands of innocent women, men, children, Jews, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, and Atheists -- all in the name of god. This barbaric act, carried out in the name of god, caused many people to question the relevance of god in the affairs of man. This book dares the reader to think and reason logically on even the existence of god, let alone its involvement in human affairs. It stresses the harm caused by religions and makes a plea to people to speak up when religion is used to express intolerance, hatred, and bigotry.

Do not read this book unless you are willing to think for yourself. -- Theodore M. Vial, Associate Professor of Religious Studies, Virginia Wesleyan College

Few people have helped and at times forced me to think as deeply and clearly as John Henderson does. -- Rev. Roy L. Hood, Retired Minister

4.0 out of 5 stars A real life book. for the questioning truthseeker, September 28, 2005

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Fear, Faith, Fact, Fantasy (Hardcover)
The author of this book deals with our present day issues, including religious, political and moral, in factual, practical ways but also recognizes the emotional issues non-believers experience. Why non-believers remain quiet, why believers get so angry when someone doesn't believe in their god. Is there a time when being a closet Atheist is permissible? Good and harmful effects of religion on individuals and our society.
He offers some simple rules for happiness, and gives courage to those who would speak out against religion that is harmful to mankind's well-being.
