Allison Brennan steps up to the plate, March 28, 2007
With the final novel in the series, however I sincerely hope she will give us the stories of the other three Kincaids, Jack, a mercenary, Patrick, a computer genius, and Lucy, the youngest who is center stage in FEAR NO EVIL. There is also the undercover agent, Mick, I would love to know his story. As you can tell there are alot of intersting secondary characters in this novel.
Kate Donovan is a renegade FBI agent. For five years she has hunted the man who murdered her partner, Paige Henshaw, on a live internet telecast. Betrayed by the bureau when they were left without backup. Her boyfriend and her best friend both died. Trask, the mastermind behind the telecast of the rape and murder has been on the run. But he has not forgotten the woman who has thwarted him. His hatred for women has put her at the top of his list of most wanted victims.
Dillion Kincaid is a forensic physchiatrist. He has dealt with the darkness of many sociopaths. But this one has made it personal. Dillion and his family of cops and agents have 48 hours to find and save their sister, Lucy. She has been kidnapped and taken to an unknown location where she is raped and brutalized for the preverted animals willing to pay to watch.
This is a dark thriller with sense of urgency, I was not able to put it down. The menace of Trask and his genius is very evident. The horror of the things Lucy faces is brutal. I very much enjoyed the book and I hope we do get the story of all the wonderful characters in the book. If you read the others in the series SPEAK NO EVIL, and SEE NO EVIL you will recognize the characters from those books here.
If you like a dark, violent, thriller this book is for you.

Best of the trilogy, April 5, 2007
This was my favorite of the Evil trilogy because the reader got to know all the Kincaids in books 1 and 2 and they played prominent parts in book 3. We even got to meet and love the mysterious Jack Kincaid. Making Lucy, a character readers came to know and like, the victim of the vicious villain upped the suspense and scare level.
This was an edge of your seat, can't put down thriller with an intelligent and romantic love story thrown into the mix.
Warning - this isn't for the faint of heart. Some, many, scenes are brutal, violent, and very frank. It was scary, but a very enjoyable read. Allison Brennan is one of the best romantic suspense authors I have read and I can't wait for her next trilogy.
Now I can catch up on the sleep I missed while I couldn't put Fear No Evil down.

Dire six stars story, July 5, 2007
The gruesome story of men or women that harass teenagers is really repulsive. We need to harp our children and ourselves to be very careful with all the chats in the internet with people either they know them or not. I can't tell you that this is a nice story but definitively a must read and learn of it.
Now let's start counting stars:
1 The book'll thrill you from the first page till you finish it. Including the very last page. This mean that the book never goes out of the main plot.
2 You'll see that the police, FBI, CIA or whatever not always are to "Serve and protect" but to do only their prime job.
3 This awesome story is a reality and we must open our eyes to see it. You'll have to learn how to protect your family and friends.
4 Writing about this heinous subject and at the same time thrilling you with the police work is not an easy task.
5 The story is so well written you won't be able to close the book till the end.
6 Because is a really good book.
