5.0 out of 5 stars Irrefutably awesome, March 11, 2010
This review is from: Fear No Evil (Audio CD)
Whether one chooses to interpret this as the fearful sound of the beast thrashing in the foundations of the world's ruin or merely some really ugly dudes who split their time between band practice and D&D, it's great. There really isn't a bad song on this one. Plus, it has death riding a motorcycle through a church window - probably the most emotionally resonant and socially significant imagery in popular culture produced in the 20th century.

5.0 out of 5 stars An underrated metal maelstrom, July 15, 2005
By

This review is from: Fear No Evil (Audio CD)
If this album would have gotten as much radio sponsorship as Ozzy or Metalli-can't they would have been superstars, I think. No real weak tracks, a definitive 80's metal album at it's best. Every song has something unique, either a real eye-opening solo or riff or both or something else to do with drums. Funny metal lyrics too, like what you'd expect from Judas Priest. Color/texture changes from song to song and within a song itself. You're caught off guard just when you anticipate what's going to happen next. This one's perfect for the loudspeakers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best of the three, February 8, 2007

This review is from: Fear No Evil (Audio CD)
Fear No Evil is where the band really hit its stride and nailed an identity. See You in Hell was hit and miss and Rock You to Hell, while it was great in some ways, was a let down (singing about politics?) FNE was have a good time heavy metal!
