A book full of useful and lasting ideas., July 25, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Fear No Yellow Stickies: More Business Wisdom Too Simple Not to Know (Paperback)
Richard Moran's book meets two of my tests for good business books. First, it has ideas I can use Monday morning; there is something useful here for everyone in business. And second, it has ideas I will remember long after I put the book down.

A few good business tips, June 7, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Fear No Yellow Stickies: More Business Wisdom Too Simple Not to Know (Paperback)
This book is not actually a book but rather a list of business and success tips. Out of all the tips, I found about one-fifth actually useful. However, it is small and compact and would make a 'neat' little gift for anyone who works.

An excellent, practical list of things to know and do., July 7, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Fear No Yellow Stickies: More Business Wisdom Too Simple Not to Know (Paperback)
Rich Moran has done it again. He has managed to compile thoughts of business people and list them in neat, little book that fits in anyone's briefcase. Not a "how-to," necessarily, but a compendium of "tips" which can help improve interactions between business people. It's not often one can find a book that is amusing and helpful at the same time.

Stuff No One Else Told Me, July 27, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Fear No Yellow Stickies: More Business Wisdom Too Simple Not to Know (Paperback)
As someone starting my career, or my so called life, there are tidbits no one tells you. Bullets like "the fastest way to give yourself a raise is to work less" come in handy for someone who couldn't get through the new employee manual. This is highly recommend. If you read Fast Company, you will like this book.

What succeeds at work succeeds at home ,at play and even at retirement., June 18, 2011
This review is from: Fear No Yellow Stickies: More Business Wisdom Too Simple Not to Know (Paperback)
This is an excellent little tome that is worth reading every once in a while. It is filled with concise ideas or aphorisms, sayings, bullets,or whatever you want to call those little ideas that define how to be successful in life;no matter your age,sex or station in life. Some might like to think of them as bits of wit & wisdom handed down from the sages or simply living and dealing with life; all in the hope of succeeding. Most of these ideas are "old as the hills",our grandparents before us knew them, and those who follow in our footsteps will have to learn ,and abide by them if they want to live a happy and successful life. While most of the ideas expressed in this little book refer to the workplace; that doesn't mean that they don't apply in personal relations with friends, family or anywhere else we come in contact with others.
As we progress through life ,there are always new things coming into play. This little tome includes advice in dealing with those little pastie notes,or as he calls them "yellow stickies" but he also deals with what is probably the greatest explosion in communications that people have ever had to deal with---e-mail and the "net".
If you ever ask yourself why things turn out the way they do,and wonder if it was because of yoyr actions;this book will be an enlightment to you.If you haven't;it may be an epiphany or at least a flash of enlightment to you.
