Detective Inspector Bill Forward is working at Hackney police station when he and a police constable answer an emergency call from a woman in distress. When they arrest the woman’s husband, whose brutal attack has left her with terrible injuries, DI Forward considers the case closed. However, after having served his prison sentence, the sadistic husband is released hell-bent on revenge. After attacking the police constable who assisted in his arrest, Plummer goes looking for DI Forward. It is only a matter of time before he strikes again—and will DI Forward be ready?
