"Fearless Remodeling" has given me a new sense of control over the work being done at my house. No more headaches, no more surprise fees and charges. My only regret is that I didn't start reading it sooner." -- S. Israel, homeowner

"This book has been much needed for quite a while. Finally consumers can get help navigating their way through any remodeling project, big or small." -- Meami Craig, lifestyle reporter and family columnist

I felt so helpless when the contractor set such a high price -- I had know way to know whether it was fair or not. The whole process was just getting out of control, and my friends were no help at all. Then I read Susan's book, and I learned how to get back on top of things. Her advice helped me remodel my kitchen, and soon we're going to start on the bathrooms. My wife and I feel this book is an essential part of our success.

Having spent the past several months in search of sound remodeling advice, I was delighted to find all the advice I needed in a single book. Susan Luxenberg lets you in on all the trade secrets contractors don't want you to know ... like how to avoid getting ripped off. I probably saved $15,000 by reading this book -- and now I have a new car to put in my new garage!

I recently moved into an older home in a new city. Before I even considered any remodeling, I looked around for books that could help get me started. This one was great! The worksheets really helped. I really appreciated how much content there was and how many great suggestions the author had for staying within my budget. Thanks Fearless Remodeling!

Okay, I don't do remodeling so...keep that in mind when you look at my Stars score. However, my Daddy did and I like to think that a little bit rubbed off. Marvelous! The content is well laid out, easy to understand, and complete... with work sheets. Plenty of worksheets and checklists. The author seems to have thought of everything. There are seven steps here to take the homeowner, you or I, from first thought to actually doing it. Actually working on the house. Fun but frightening though this book is laid out in such a way as to gift you with confidence and yes, take away your fear. Thus, the title. Fearless Remodeling, a fascinating read. Implement it.
