About the Author

Dr. Scott Sindelar consults with businesses and organizations from Singapore to Saudi Arabia. He has written for Entrepreneur magazine, Executive Excellence magazine, and others. He is past president of the National Speakers Association, Arizona Chapter. He has started and run several successful businesses, so he delivers no theoretical, ivory-tower nonsense. Trained as a clinical and business psychologist, he spent two decades in forensic psychology, working with some of the most disturbed minds. Meanwhile, he was also working with businesses, organizations, and executives to analyze and develop effective systems. The result is a deep understanding of the psychology of fear and motivation applied to business. He has used these techniques to help executives become better leaders. Through his seminars, he has helped thousands reach their true potential. Dr. Sindelar used many of these techniques to conquer his own fear of public speaking. He used his understanding of motivation to reach the summit of Cerro Aconcagua, the tallest mountain on 6 continents. He recently took control of a money-losing retail business. In three months, his psychological marketing savvy resulted in paying back the investors in 90 days. In three more months, the competition was hurting so badly that they bought him out. His real-life experiences, professional consultations, and research during the past 25 years has resulted in this book. He is available for business consultations and keynote presentations.
