Kam Lee has done it again. First with Denial Fiend and now with Bone Gnawer. He has perfectly re-captured the magic of early death metal -- at least for me -- and I'm loving every minute of it. The production is sludgy and old school...the hooks are plentiful...the vocals are vintage Kam. The songs are infectiously catchy..and they are kept simple by design. This is not some mind-bending technical cd that will put you to sleep like most of the stuff that comes out now. It is a riff hammer to the skull. Hopefully they will release more in the future.

I came across this artist on my ipod...something I must have downloaded and forgotten about. I love the simple brilliance of this band. I don't mind the incomprehensible lyrics of death metal, but once in a while it's nice not to have ignore the lyrics or spend the effort trying to make out the growls. The singer in this band has a awesome voice. Growly, deep and authentic death vocals without sacrificing clarity.

Plus, the great old school riffs are just awesome to hear.

Im a huge fan of the resurgence of Old School Style Death Metal and Bone Gnawer is leading that charge for me. Featuring Kam from Massacre on vocals, this is pure brutality in it's simplest form. Swedish style buzz guitar, Swedish double time drums and Melody and brutality makes this record my favorite for the year. Fans of Grave, Death Breathe, Unleashed, and Interment need to buy this NOW!!!

Great music and legendary vokillist KAM LEE make this album a classick! YOU NEED THIS ALBUM!!
