This book has been officially banned by the U.S. government! In doing so it has shredded the Bill of Rights and the First Amendment; "Congress shall make no law..."

What is in this book that scares the government so much that it does not want American citizens to read it? By what "right" does the government have in determining what we can and cannot read? The First Amendment is clear. I thought book banning was something that occured in Nazi Germany and Communist Russia. Perhaps Amazon.com will now have to sell copies printed in Mexico, Cuba or China and smuggled to the "Free" U.S.A.

The banning of this book should only encourage all Americans to get a copy and read it.

Irwin Schiff is correct and amazon is brave for still having a link to this book still up. This book is banned material in all forums and this includes amazons selling of it. read the court order banning the book at www.paynoincometax.com . Schiff is under is prosecution (persecution is more like it) by the Feds because they of course want to keep us all slaves. And we are slaves no matter how you want to justify it. (paying a "fair share" is a socialist term) Serfs in feudal England were considered slaves and they got to take home more than we do now. The Federal Government operates outside the Law and the courts are clearly simply ignoring the facts. Go to his site and read the motions and decisions rendered so far and see for your self how the court behaves. There is of course one reviewer here who is clearly a Federal Agent. Do note that according to the Patriot Act, once you purchase this book, the government will know about it and you will be on thier hit list. So if you can get it through other means.

We were studying about freedom in school. We have been taught that America is a free country. We were taught that Americans are free to express their thoughts.

Then my classmate Bobby brought in an article he found in the news about the author of this book called "The Federal Mafia". The author is Irwin Schiff. The article said that this book had been banned, and Mr. Schiff can not talk about his beliefs about taxes anymore.

I found this book at the Public Library. It is filled with a lot of information about the IRS, and how the tax system is voluntary.
There are copies of many papers in the book, but most of it I could not understand.

We learned that making people not share their thoughts is called censorship. ...

Bobby was right. I guess that Mr. Schiff is telling the truth. Otherwise he would be in jail, and the government would not be trying to shut him up. I guess that we are not a free country anymore if we can't express our thoughts. I also read that the ACLU and other people are trying to help lift this ban. I hope they help Mr. Schiff win in court. I purchased this book several years ago, and have since learned the truth about the voluntary nature of our tax system.

Irwin Schiff has been sharing his findings with Americans for many years now. Mr. Schiff states in his book, and has ample documentation to back him up, that the Income Tax is based on voluntary compliance.

I spent many hours researching the material in the book, and have found it to be true. YOU CAN LEGALLY STOP PAYING INCOME TAX AND LEGALLY STOP YOUR EMPLOYER FROM WITHOLDING FEDERAL TAXES.

Unfortunately, the IRS is not happy with Mr. Schiff. I don't think the Federal Government is either. Since they can't lock him up, they have chosen to try to silence this brave individual. This book has been banned, and a gag order has been placed on Irwin Schiff and his associates. They cannot even discuss the material in this book.

What does this book teach that the government doesn't want you to know? Plenty! Get your own copy and see!

I feel that every American should read this book. It is truly an eye opener. In addition, I also recommend the book The Great Income Tax Hoax, also written by Irwin Schiff.

Extremely well documented and eye-opening. Hard to both believe and understand at times, but you too will see that the emperor has no clothes. Again, if he's wrong, why doesn't the IRS or district attorney just state the law that requires payment of an income tax and shut Mr. Schiff up? As for his jail sentence...Nelson Mandela and Jesus Christ were imprisoned, does that make them wrong or not to be believed?

After having studied Mr. Schiffs' materials over two years ago, I have saved thousands of dollars from being wasted by the Fedreal Government. The IRS has tried to intimidate me with threatening letters, but if you know your rights and what the IRS can and can't do, as explained by Mr. Schiff in his various publications, then the IRS no longer represents any type of credible threat to you.

Every American should buy this book in order to be free from the IRS. I have used Irwin's procedures for five years and have stopped the IRS from doing anything to me using the information in the Federal Mafia. I have even stopped garnishment of wages. Learn the truth about the income tax. See for your self that the in the Internal Revenue Code there is no definition for the word income. Even if you don't use Irwin's book for yourself, at least realize what the IRS is doing, illegally to the American public.

If you want to stop big government, then buy the Federal Mafia and put your money back into your pocket and not in those who don't care how they spend it.

With this book you'll have confidence in yourself and will be able to stand up against the IRS.

This book will teach you how to use the government own books and records against themselves.

Before you write this off as some conspiracy theorist book, note that Irwin Schiff has said '" The Laws are just fine. They don't need to change. It's not even the fault of the IRS. They are just doing what they have been given reign to do." He even opposes abolishing the IRS. He insists they have a legitimate purpose which is to collect the taxes authorized by the constitution: Liquor, Tobacco and Firearms, which 1/3rd of the IR code is dedicated to.

The problem is that the Supreme court has determined that a mandatory tax on wages/commissionsetc to be illegal so they have defined it as a tax on profits, and all income taxes as referred to in the code are voluntary. Income is not even defined in the code so that you assume you are liable and continue to volunteer.

All fine and dandy you say. I still dont want to go to jail like he did!..... well, me either. Fortunately, he has it all worked out so you can firmly establish your right to not volunteer, support it with supreme court decisions and avoid court and leins all together.

Read the book. It is really the right thing to do to stand up for our constitutional rights, before the constitution becomes a worthless piece of paper.

I not only read the book, I am in it.Irwin gave me that honor. Everyone in this great nation that can read, needs to read every book that Irwin wrote. Information is power, and this what the "federal mafia" fears the most! They do not want the U.S.citizens to know the LAW. they want to tell them what it is, it is time for all to know the truth for themselves and not believe anyone. To check it out for yourselve, the info is there! bring it to your cpa, to your Lawyer. let them tell you it is not true. AND WHY!!! If they start with the BS, you will know!!!!! I love Irwin Schiff and this book, but let me tell you, this book is for informational purposes only. The book claims to show how the Federal Gov. illegally has put in place a defacto salary and wage tax on human beings. And he makes a darn convincing case for just that. After reading this book, not only will you understand how the tax system works, you will also have an 'in' as to how the judicial system can work against you and how the tax system destroys wealth and our society as a whole. Read it, you will not be disappointed, but do not so anything in this book without consulting a tax attorney. The course of conduct the author suggests is not a simple and undangerous one. It could result in your being jailed and/or the seizure of your assets. And I am sure there are people behind bars who could attest to that.
