I've watched Fedora a few times now and each time I have enjoyed it. It is a wonderful story that really hits home for me. Having had family members in the past afflicted with cancer, I was able relate personally with the characters in this film. Based on my personal experience, I felt the movie was realistic, uplifting, entertaining, and not offensive in any way. I highly recommend this movie to all, especially those who value the importance of having friends and family help each other through difficult times.

When Julio Esperanza, devoted husband and father, discovers he has cancer, his life takes a terrible turn. Distraught about his future, he withdraws into isolation and despair. Meanwhile, his family, friends, and the boys on the baseball team he coaches wring their hands miserably, unable to reach Julio or to assuage his pain. But faith and hope light the way as Julio's friends and family discover a remarkable and powerful way to share Julio's trials, and he discovers, finally, that no man is alone who has friends -- and Julio was blessed with dozens of them. A true story.
