I purchased this doll house to give to a little girl from a needy family that we "adopted" for Christmas. We had to travel with it, so waited until we got there on Christmas Eve afternoon to take it out of the box and put it together. All the pieces were there, but at least one of the wood pieces was warped; several of the screws would not go into the holes as they were supposed to; and a piece of the particle board on one of the outside walls was broken. (And, it makes no sense to me why the bottom floor is made to look like a pool when that's supposed to be the kitchen!)

Needless to say, I was VERY disappointed in and frustrated with this product. I had to go to Toys 'R Us that afternoon and find another doll house that didn't need to be put together so that I would have a gift to give to our little 8-year-old friend who had asked for it from Santa.

The order came fairly quickly, in 3-5 days. The packaging was fairly minimal in protecting from shipping damage. The assembly instructions were brief. We had to send back the first house because my husband was unable to assemble it(he works on his own cars and built our house addition, so he's quite handy)because the screws and the holes didn't line up properly. This put a damper on Christmas, as this was our younger daughter's big Christmas present. When we received the second one there were similar issues with the holes not lining up for the screws to go into and one of the pieces got damaged in shipping. The thinner pieces of "wood" came warped and had to be bent back into shape to be able to assemble the dollhouse. We assembled the dollhouse minus one screw that would not go in and our daughter loves it. If I had to do it all over again I would have bought the other dollhouse for $20 more than this one.
