4.0 out of 5 stars Feed Your Head with Ambient Bliss, October 23, 2011
By
Droid (Bristol, UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Feed Your Head, Vol. 2 (Audio CD)
I picked up this compilation in an OXFAM charity shop for 99p (sorry Amazon, but I did not know it existed on your site at the time) and was pleased with my new purchase.

For lovers of ambient music this record is a must have in your collection. From the start I was hooked by the Indian/Asian music influenced Dakini (Sky Dancer Mix) and to have that stream nicely into the hypnotic 120bpm dance beats and bass of Parsifal was a joy to my ears.

I've only marked this disc a 4 as there are a couple of tracks that personally don't do it for me. I find Schmoo and Symbol I irritating for some reason, but to have those followed by the spacey, ethereal musical musings of Sadhana and Travelling Without Moving makes up for the previous track's losses.

All in all a great compilation to have in your collection with a couple of tracks that could have been omitted.
