5.0 out of 5 stars Feeding Your Soul:A Quiet Time Handbook, March 15, 2000
By
Jan (North Pole, AK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Feeding Your Soul: A Quiet Time Handbook (Paperback)
Like a gift from the Father, this book came to me at a dry spiritual time. As I read the first sentence I knew that it was written in such a way as to be applied and used right away. Didn't have to read the book in entirety to begin restructuring my quiet time with God. It is a handbook easy to understand and follow. I know that the author has met with the Master and does so regularly. Thank you Mrs. Fleming.

5.0 out of 5 stars Reinvigorate your Quiet Time, August 25, 2008

I was ordering "A Mother's Heart" by Jean Fleming for my neice and saw this title also. I decided to give a try. I am so glad I did. Jean Fleming writes for real people. No deep theory, just practical, Biblical instruction with wonderful examples from real people who meet with God. I found that I am not alone in my struggles or my successes. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a closer walk with Jesus, even those "old soldiers" like me who just need a little tune up every now and then

5.0 out of 5 stars One of my favorite books!, July 25, 2011

This review is from: Feeding Your Soul: A Quiet Time Handbook (Paperback)
This is one of my all time favorite books! I have read it yearly for the past 8 years. It is encouraging and motivational. Jean reminds me of the need to spend quality time reading God's Word. It isn't a devotional book, rather it is resource for the ins and outs of reading God's Word on a regular basis.
