In the late 1980s I had an opportunity to meet Dick Lutz as a client of his with a life-long phobia. In a surprisingly few meetings I was able to learn the techniques in this book first-hand and overcome my lifetime of limiting fear. I bought this book as soon as it was published in order to not forget what I learned. In the twenty or so years since, I have often used the techniques in this book to quit a smoking addiction, relax before surgery, and relax under the everyday stresses of life. Although I lost track of him years ago, Richard Lutz and his book have been a very powerful influence on my life for over twenty years, and I can't thank him enough for this little book.
