This is a great introduction to Horace Andy's work--2 cd's with 40 some songs that all come from the golden age of reggae--anyone with a passing interest in the genre, and who likes classic artists like Bob Marley and Peter Tosh, will definitely enjoy this collection.

this 2cd album anthology is and it is sad to say but, the only work that is worth getting when it comes to horace andy. his smooth voice tingles my spine true to the culture of reggae. Get this if your looking for some roots reggae, one of the best. Get it when its cheap its now for less than $10 these albums by trojan are rare and are no longer in print, if you can find a import from u.k. for cheaper get it, those are worth a lot more than u.s. versions. thats only if you intend to resell it. do not pay more than $15 for this item. one love.

If You think, this compilation does not contain enough Dubs, You can balance that by acquiring "Horace Andy's Dub Box, rare Dubs 1973-1976". That album complements nicely the one above. Skylarking, Zion gate, Money, True love shines bright, My guiding star, Just say who, Something on my mind, The love of a woman, Don't try to use me, Letter to mummy and daddy, You are my angel, Bless you, Serious thing: they all get Dubs, and sometimes hard to find ones.
#20 "Don't think about me" is dubbed on the now overpriced, excellent album "Pick a dub", produced by Keith Hudson.
Thereby all of this turns to a nice collection, which I didn't want to rate too high however.
