5.0 out of 5 stars good stuff
I love the coaches corner at the end of each chapter. On that page I write things I have learned . Use and adopt. Ways that chapter is useful to ME. I also have bought a few copies and given as gifts to people who are into personal fulfillment, goals and self development. Thank you Eva for writing this book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Too many better books out there on this topic.....
I actually spoke with the author, and found her peppy, but her actual feedback lacking in real content. There are so many more books out there that provide something real that is usable and meaningful, which provide actual and measurable results. Books such as Professional Dreamer, Law of Attraction, etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mondern twist on age-old wisdom, November 10, 2005

Having read almost every book available on this subject, some extremely hard to both find and follow, I think I'm qualified to say with certainty that Eva's book is among the best of them. She takes timeless principles and puts them in modern easy language together with powerful exercises and gently guides the reader onan almost effortless journey towards true prosperity. Any reader is free to decide what they think of the book but I bought two copies and have given away others so I know what I think. If you would like an almost effortless journey to ptosperity, let eva help you. She has walked the walk not just talked the talk.

1.0 out of 5 stars A Completely Trite Rip Off of a Book, April 9, 2005
This review is from: The Feel Good Guide to Prosperity (Paperback)
I first discovered this author online as part a of duo of "abundance coaches" with Jeanna Gabellini, who the author also co-hosts a radio show with. They also give many seminars by telephone that range in price, teaching others about abundance.

I purchased this book hoping there would be something of substance and maybe a different slant or approach to the principles. I am one who always believes there is something to learn. However, I was really disappointed in this book.

The way this book is laid out makes it a difficult, choppy read. Each chapter is broken down into "subchapters" of sorts that are only a few pages long each. At the end of each subchapter is a "Coach's Corner" exercise to help you apply what the last page and a half talked about. It makes it seem as if it's an ending to a chapter. Very distracting and does not make the book flow or stay on track.

The margins on the pages are an inch on each side, which leaves little room for text. Then the author pads the beginning of each little subchapter blurb with a quotation--her own! I somehow don't find that effective. The reason authors usually use quotes is to use words from OTHER PEOPLE to enforce and expand on their subject. Why do I want her backing up herself? It's a little weird.

Throughout the book are many quotations, some lengthy, from people only identified by first name. At first I thought I was going to get insight from lots of different people who had worked with these principles, etc. But instead, we get the opinions and experiences of only a handful of people, over and over again. Since one of these people is Jeanna Gabellini, I would suspect that the others are friends, coaches, or some other acquaintance. It just doesn't ring true somehow, and I would rather learn from many others.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about:
Chapter 1 Starts on page 3. First page is all author's text.
Page 4: One paragraph by author, the rest of the page, 4.5", is a quotation from someone named Annabelle.
Page 5, some text by author, quote from Jeanna.
Page 6, 1 and a half sentences and the rest a blank page. You're done with the first "subchapter." Here comes the...
Coach's Corner, which is half a page and promotes a website.

That's pretty much the way the whole book goes.

I feel ripped off by this book. It seems the whole point was to make the author prosper and to further her credentials.

There are SO MANY other books out there that are thoughtful and give the subject the time it deserves. Start with "You'll See It When You Believe It" by Wayne Dyer; "Ordering From The Cosmic Kitchen" by Patricia Crane; and "Write It Down, Make It Happen" by Henriette Klauser. These books are truly useful and you will refer to them often.

5.0 out of 5 stars Eva Gregory Walks Her Talk, June 25, 2005
This review is from: The Feel Good Guide to Prosperity (Paperback)
This book takes each element essential to succees, prosperity and abundance and breaks it down into easy to do, simple exercises with profound results. Eva Gregory takes you through aspects of the law of attraction, such as "who am I be-ing now?" For me, that simple question created fundemental changes in how I show up in the world. Another favorite part is her focus on "inspired action", which is critical in a world where so much competes for our attention. One technique I use all the time, because it's so much fun, is the "what if up" game.

The most profound truths come down to simple ideas - which then take practice. The Feel Good Guide To Prosperity shows you how simple it can be. It's filled with stories of clients who have gone through the processes and made deep shifts for themselves.

I also had the privilege of going through a year long tele-class coaching program with Eva, immersing ourselves in the laws of abundance and attraction, based on Abraham-Hicks principles. So I had the opportunity to "see" Eva is action. She truly walks her talk - over and over again she embodied the laws of allowing and attraction. She is an open, gracious, generous, abundant person with a heart of gold.

You can feel her heart-ful-ness in every aspect of the book, from the cover to the conclusion. I find it refreshing and heartening to know that the author uses these laws in her daily life - and so successfully!

Immerse yourself in her book, do the exercises, and watch yourself soar!

2.0 out of 5 stars A Tired Retread, April 19, 2005
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Feel Good Guide to Prosperity (Paperback)
Not only is this book lacking an original thought, it is not even written in a sprightly fashion. The test is interrputed with trite quotes from unknown and uninteresting individuals notated by first name only, ie, "Annabelle" "Eva".

If you are really interested in the laws of attraction and manifestation, read anyting by Catherine Ponder, Jerry and Esther Hicks (the Abraham people), Joe Vitale or Excuse Me Your Life is Waiting by Lynn Grabhorn.

2.0 out of 5 stars I EXPECTED MORE FROM THIS BOOK, December 12, 2004
Much too simplistic and not alot of meat. Talk about many topics but not deep enough.
Sometimes she says we should look for a friend in people who have same interest with us. Common sense. But I expected she will use a law of attraction to tell people how to attract great friends and people around us in our lives.
Than you ask yourself a question: should you be using law of attraction or a common sense. I did not like that many pages are filled with big letters and quoatations. But that is only my opinion. She deserves a credit for a book, but she failed to deliver a message. She talks about abundance, law of attraction, and many other things but just simplistic. Not much meat inside.
