This is a contemporary, light, and fun musical mix. The songs are refreshingly new and definitely Hawaiian. But not slack key or Don Ho, more like an upbeat Taj Mahal. I especially like the 2500 and KOA TREE, but all the tracks are great. I heard this for the first time when I was in Hawaii two years ago and had to have it. Whether you have ever been there or not, it creates a great sense of returning to the islands. I highly recommend it.

I love Hawaii and their cultures. Along with Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, I think Ho'Onua does a great job with music. Even though I live in Pennsylvania, I listen to their music year-round.
