5.0 out of 5 stars The lady who does it all., March 15, 2001

Marcella is back without Siobhan Fahey of Shakespears Sister. And quite honestly she never needed her. Marcy was the brains and the talent behind the band. This is actually her third solo project, and it is perfect. If you love a great voice, and excellent songwriting this cd is definitely for you. She is also currently working on her third cd now. The first single which is to be released in April, is called Lust for like. Check it out on her website Marcelladetroit.com. Do yourself a favor and purchase Feeler. You want be sorry.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good work, May 19, 2002
This review is from: Feeler 13 Tracks (Audio CD)
After "Jewel" Marcella releases "Feeler", another
example for her solo- talent after Shakespears Sister.
The best songs are "I hate you now", "Somebody's mother",
"The same father" and "Kidd". It's a popsong- collection
with melodic sounds but more rough like "Jewel".
On this album I miss smash- hits like "I believe".
Sometimes the songs sound similar but my full respect
for her arrangements, her lyrics and her voice.

5.0 out of 5 stars Jewel....Feeler....Dancing Madly Sidways...., April 21, 2003
This review is from: Feeler 13 Tracks (Audio CD)
Shakespeare's Sister started out with just Siobhan (former member of Bananarama)...after the 1st release "Sacred Heart" tanked...Siobhan made the SMART decision to bring in Marcella...
Anything that SS was lacking-these 2 chicks together filled the void. After "Hormonally Yours" (with billboard hit song Stay) Marcella was not invited back to be with SS...although SS released another album after Marcella (which was pretty good) it was Marcella who blew me out of the water...Her music is very similer to SS... Jewel(4) Feeler (5) Dancing Madly Sidways (5+)
Standout tracks:
Feeler-"BOY", "I HATE YOU NOW", "ELAINE'S ADDICTION", & "SUNDAY"
Dancing Madly-"TITLE TRACK","LUST 4 LIKE", "SUCKERS & SAGE"
