Feelin' Alright is a fantastic album. Mongo Santamaria here covers hits from the years surrounding the 1970 release: "I Can't Get Next To You," "Sunshine Of Your Love," "Hip-Hug-Her" and the title track stand out.
This is all done boogaloo style, with screaming sax and pulsating percussion--as if a top forty station circa 1970 were raided by a Latin band. High energy album. Buy |
