Pura Vida,

Devin Clark and Taylor Jabowski, after a short courtship, jumped the broom. While they were still really in the getting-to-know-you phase, they are now knee-deep in the growing- into-the-marriage-and-learning-to-adjust-to-the-"we"-of-things as Devin shares his political aspirations. Despite how hard he campaigns, or what others believe, the person that Devin needs to support him the most, just may not be able to handle the pressure.
Clark Anderson-Winston and her husband, Kenneth have been married seven years. They've raised two children, his biological daughter and her niece, and they desperately want to bring a child into the world of their own. After countless attempts and spending all of their savings, they've thus far been unsuccessful. When frustration sets in, the wedded bliss may have hit a major road block. LOVE MY PEOPLE is hosting a girl empowerment seminar. Who knew that would be the reunion of Devin and Clark? After all, it's been ten long years, a child and two marriages between them. Now with so much at stake for both of them, will Devin and Clark be able to finally let the past be the past? Or is this more than either of them could've ever wished for? FINALLY! I've been willing Candice Dow to finish this story and she finally has. Call me what you will, but I'm a sucker when it comes to the power of love. While I am strictly against adultery, I can't help but root for REAL LOVE! As always, I loved the characters, the storyline, and the way in which you still connected to the characters despite the time that has passed. I was completely FEELIN' THE VIBE and recommend all of Candice's books to readers alike. Reviewed by: Crystal

Can You Feel It?,

Feelin' the Vibe by Candice Dow is the follow-up to her debut novel Caught in the Mix. Caught in the Mix ended with Devin Patterson marrying another woman, although, Clark Winston, the love of his life was begging him not to. This story finds ex lovers 10 years removed, with successful lives of their own. Devin is newly married and preparing to run for Congress. Clark has been married for several years and has changed her life completely. She and her new husband are feeling the strain of trying to have a child. All appearances would indicate that Clark and Devin have moved on. But, have they?
Feelin' the Vibe is a good contemporary story that covers a lot of ground, such as old lovers, infertility, adoption and faithfulness. Ms. Dow does a great job of creating believable characters and allowing the readers to care about them. However, I found Devin to be one of the most self-absorbed characters ever. There seemed to be no end to his feeling of entitlement. On the other hand, the story was fast-paced and kept the reader caught up in what would happen next. I recommend Feelin' the Vibe to all readers and especially those who want to know what happened to Devin and Clark. Angelia Vernon Menchan APOOO BookClub

Jesus, Take the Wheel!,

Nine years have passed since Clark and Devin went their separate ways. They say you never forget your first love, and those words couldn't ring more true for this duo. Devin has married, had a child, divorced and remarried, yet a part of him still belongs to Clark. Clark has also married and is attempting to start a family, but Devin is never really far from her mind and heart.
Life sees fit to cross their paths again. Admittedly, on both parts, their feelings for each other are still very much alive. Will they risk it all - their mates, jobs, all that they've worked for and life as they know it - to be together? With plenty of drama and raw emotions, Clark and Devin are back! This is a reunion/sequel that I have been waiting for. I was too excited when I found out about FEELIN' THE VIBE, having enjoyed both Caught In The Mix and Tappin' On Thirty. FEELIN' THE VIBE is a captivating and enjoyable read. Candice Dow is an author I'd easily recommend to others. OOSA BOTM (September)

This book was such a roller coaster ride, but you couldn't help but to root for Devin & Clark no matter how wrong it was. I just love how everything turned out how it should have in the end. Taylor definitely showed a huge level of maturity that I didn't expect from her at all. It was nice to see her finally support Devin even though he did her wrong. After all Clark had been through from the first book Caught In The Mix she deserved her happy ending and she got it. Devin was always a good man, but just had so many hoops that he always had to jump through, but it seems like he finally got things right. I hope Candice Dow continues this series, because I would love to read how Clark & Devin's life progresses from here.

I truely enjoyed reading this and I actually cried... I don't believe in adultry...but these two had a very strong connection and I didn't like the way they went about it...but I guess u can't be denied your soul mate. I would like to see Taylor's story....she shouldn't have married someone knowing she was playing 2nd fiddle to someone else. You won't be disappointed with this one!

Some Feelings Never Die,

FEELIN' THE VIBE is the pleasant and refreshing sequel to Tappin' on Thirty and Caught in the Mix where the reader is reintroduced to Devin and Clark.
Devin, a successful attorney, once married and the father of a young daughter has recently married Taylor, a beautiful woman with charm and grace. A year later their marriage begins to take a strain, when Devin decides to run for Congress and Taylor is none the happier. He wants a supportive wife and she wants to "hang out with the girls". Will their marriage be doomed from the start or will they come together as one? Clark has married Kenneth and they are raising his biological daughter and her niece. She has left corporate America and is now running a group home. Clark has been trying to become pregnant and from all the failed fertility treatments, her mind and body can no longer stand the disappointments. She has accepted the option of adoption however, Kenneth is adamant about the idea. Clark notices a change in Kenneth's behavior which causes a thorn in their marriage. Devin and Clark are reunited during a girls' empowerment seminar. The vibe between them is still strong as before but they have so much to lose if they don't leave the past behind them. Candice Dow has written an enjoyable tale of two lovers who chose separate paths and are reunited only to find their love has never diminished. Infused with vibrant characters and a rousing plot, I recommend FEELIN' THE VIBE to all readers. Reviewed by Sharon Lewis of The RAWSISTAZ(tm) Reviewers

I must say that this was typically a good read. Unfortunatley, I was unaware of the fact that there was a part 1 to this book but this the author did such a good job that she covered pretty much everything in this one too, therefore I didnt feel that I missed out on too much in the first book. Overall this is a story about an old falme being rekindled to the 100th power...HOT HOT HOT!!!!

From just discovering caught in the mix and then being able to go right into feelin the vibe was refreshing. I am glad candice dowe did this sequel and went more into clark and devin's lives after 10 years. You see the maturity levels and also the love that they still have for each other even as full grown adults and not college sweethearts anymore. I won't give the book up but I must say that it kept me turning page after page and the ending was just what I wanted!

I enjoyed the continuation of Devin and Clark's relationship. It was a feel good story and had a great message. I expected more drama, but it was cool. I liked the story. I really love these characters and would love to hear more about them in other books. Thanks Candice for giving us what we wanted with Devin and Clark.
