Not What It Seems, June 26, 2001
There seems to be a miscommunication here somewhere. The CD says "Morris Albert" and "Feelings" and "Original Version" on it, but it is none of those. The list of tracks Amazon has does not correspond at all with what is on the actual CD. It says Morris arranged, directed, and mixed these tracks, but he certainly did not sing any of them. If you're looking for the original recordings on the original "Feelings", you'll have to keep looking. Don't waste your money on this sham CD.

A very good album to own, January 5, 2002
I am writing this review because there doesn't appear to be a balanced view of this CD. I logged onto the US site to see if I could find another Morris Albert CD and I ended up reading the reviews.
This could well be the original recording of the album but the title track is not the version that was released as a single. It is almost impossible to get a copy of the original released single and I have only come across it on vinyl, I am lucky that my original copy survived. I think there could be a copyright or other issue revolving around the original track, as it does seem strange that the song he is most famous for isn't here in its original form.
Never the less if you liked the original song, because of Morris's voice and writing ability then there is no reason why you wouldn't like this CD. It is definitely a 70's album and seems to be very relative to the time. The songs are a little corny at times but there are some real heart stoppers like What If I Said (I was sorry) and So Lonely where Morris's vocals are at his best.
If you are under 40 years old you might struggle with this CD. I was a little disappointed that the Feelings track wasn't the original but the album track is still good - it's a duet with Rebecca Godinez who is featured on other tracks. She has a great voice and together they sound really special, I think this makes up for it not being the original. Track 12 - If We Believe is also a duet with Rebecca and the whole arrangement is really good.
The whole album is a time warp of early 70's melodies and I have played the CD hundreds of times and I have to admit I love it. The songs on this album are all about love and from my own point of view that's what I remember the most about Morris Albert. The sentiment of the song Feelings can be felt in all the tracks on this CD and that's what I like the most.
If you don't like it you can always return it - but somehow I think you will probably keep it!

Hugely Disappointed, January 4, 2005
G'Day - I am from Australia and I just received the album in the mail. I ordered it because Amazon listed the songs I really wanted - "Sweet Lovin' Man" and "Christine". As previous reviews stated, this is a completely different playlist and hasn't got the two songs I wanted!!!!! OK I didn't read the reviews before I ordered it but I just relied on Amazon's integrity when listing a product.
One reviewer said the album is good, so I will keep it and give it a listen. WMc
