Wonderful book for textures, colors and even sounds,
This review is from: Feely Bugs (Mini Edition): To Touch and Feel (Hardcover)
My 1 year old loves this book. He touches every single bug over and over. Each one feels, looks and even sounds different (bristly bug, crinkly bug, lacey bug). I think that this is a very good book that can get small children interested in reading. We've had Feely Bugs for months and we still read it at least every other day.

I bought this book for my 2.5yr old when he was 6 months and he loved it. Now I am reading it to his little brother who is 7 months and he loves it too! It has many more textures than most touch and feel books and they are quite large, perfect for little uncoordinated hands and fingers to touch. The graphics are simple, again making it easy to find the textures. My only quam would be that the book is a little flimsy, but everything else makes up for it. This is a great way to introduce books to your baby, especially those who don't want to sit still for reading!

Love this book. It was my brother's favorite book when he was a little boy and my dad read it to him almost every night. I bought it because we've never been able to find the old copy. So cute.

I have purchased this book for all of my grandkids and have given it as a gift to many infants. Everyone reports that it is one of their child's favorites.

This is a great book for toddlers because there is so much to feel. I did however, think it was fell apart too quickly.

Both of my children love all the bug books. We read them constantly. I have bought them for friends kids and they love them too. Nothing goes better together than kids and bugs..

Not as good as other Carter books, but still interesting,

My interest in David Carter's bug books began several years before my son was born three years ago. Pop-up books have always appealed to me, and Carter's knack for creating pop-ups that are both visually interesting and (gasp) reasonably sturdy made them a worthwhile purchase in my view.Unfortunately, not all of Carter's books match the quality of More Bugs in Boxes or How Many Bugs in a Box?. Feely Bugs offers some novel textures, but it comes off as somewhat flat (if you'll pardon the pun); it shows you a few wacky bugs to look at and touch...and that's it. The images don't relate to each other, and the bugs aren't _doing_ anything. I would say that Pat the Bunny offers a more fulfilling tactile reading experience. My three-year-old found Feely Bugs interesting at first, but grew tired of it after just a couple of reads. Perhaps a toddler (18 mos - 2 years, maybe?) would find this book more engaging.

We had gotten this book as a hand-me-down from cousins when my first daughter was born. She loved it so much that after so much use it had seen better days! I bought this as a replacement and she loves it!! It's often stolen by her younger sister!! All these bugs books are great! I highly recommend them!
