4.0 out of 5 stars 180g review
I find that the Fein sander is the best detail sander out there, but I have come to the conclusion that when sanding with this machine, one needs to keep in mind that it is a very aggressive sanding machine. What I'm trying to say is when you sand figure on using a finer grit. If you want 150grit use 180Grit and so on.

2.0 out of 5 stars Average sandpaper at a premium price
This paper sands well when new but clogs quickly with plastic paints and the grain coverage seems less dense than many papers. Overall it is about average but due to the unique size and no real alternative brands, its a premium price for average paper.

4.0 out of 5 stars Velcro Backed Sandpaper, September 10, 2007
By
Bob B (Thompson, Ct. USA) - See all my reviews
I have used Fein velcro backed sandpaper for a couple of years and it works great. Don't press to hard and keep it moving on painted surfaces it will last a reasonable amount time. On bare wood it works great. The price is the only drawback. If you get it on sale it's definitely worth it.

5.0 out of 5 stars good value--fits fine on Dremel Multi-Max, December 14, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
After paying almost $1.00 per sheet for replacement sand paper, I was gratified to find a reasonable alternative. I can discern no differences between the sheets specified for the Fein Multi-Master and the Dremel Multi-max. In my view, these sheets are the only way to go!

5.0 out of 5 stars Work for Dremel Multitool as well, September 19, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We needed 60 grit and the packs for the Dremel only come in 60-, 120- and 240-Grit Wood Sand Paper, 6 of each so we were able to find what we needed and save money, too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Buy for Dremel, January 17, 2012

This review is from: Fein 63717083015 80 Grit Velcro Sandpaper, 50-Pack (Tools & Home Improvement)
Purchased the Fein 80 Grit 50-Pack to with my Dremel Multi-Max Oscillating Tool. They fit great and are significantly cheaper than the ones from Dremel. If you're trying to save some money and get a great product you need to look no further. Very happy with this purchase, especially since I didn't have to buy a variety pack which is what most Dremel products come in.

4.0 out of 5 stars It sands but does tend to clog, February 22, 2011

I'm sanding old varnish so maybe that is the problem. Took off only one star for the colgging issue. It works just fine on bare wood.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Sandpaper, July 7, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I made the mistake of buying an off brand paper which clogged the hook & loop pad to a point were it was unusable. It's worth paying a little extra to avoid trouble later. The paper will out perform the cheaper brands, it's helpful to use a cleaning stick to keep the paper from clogging, helps to extend the paper life.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fein MultiMaster Detail Sanding, July 5, 2010

The Fein Multimaster is a great tool, performing well, just as advertized. Although this tool saves tons of time, effort and frustration associated with detail sanding jobs, the velcro attachment system is by far the weakest link. The velcro pads are easily damaged by overheating. Overheating occurs far too easily when any of the following conditions occur: extensive point sanding (using just the tip of the tool), continuing to use a velcro paper to beyond about 40%wear. To avoid permanent damage to the pad, you MUST do the following: use appropriate sanding technique, change the paper before about 40%wear and spread the sanding load across as much of the paper surface as possible (avoiding extensive point sanding). In the end, you are trading off using lots of sandpaper for time, effort and frustrations.
