The good and the silly
The good is that it shipped super quick and got to me in just a few days. Gold star for that. Thank you ! And free shipping. So I must take those things into account.
The two suppliers for this item indicated "ships in three to five days" and another said "ships in one to three weeks." but it is in stock. How does that work ? It shipped out the same day I ordered it. What ever.
Any way
In the description it is indicated this is one tube 17 or 19 inches long , depending on which description you read. Some of the photos I have looked at on Amazon for this item shows a long tube; long enough to be two of these fitted together to make up a usable wand for using on our vacuums.
So it seemed a crap shoot what I would actually get; a full two piece wand or one section.
I ordered "1" item for $22 including shipping and what I got was one SECTION of tube 17 or 19 inches long ( I am not going to measure it ).
So . . . there you go.
If you want a usable length wand you will need to order two of these and if you are over six feet tall or there abouts you may want to consider ordering three of these.
Gone are the days of vacuum wands that have nice spring loaded ball catches that mate up to a hole in the second section.
So
If you use the heck out of your vac plan on taping the joints together. I already have a pair of these that came with a power driven brush floor tool. I am buying this for a floor tool for hard floors for another Fein vac that I have. I use electrical tape to hold the sections together and to the handle at the hose end. Other wise you have to keep stopping to jamb the sections back together.

The Fein vacuums are truly great. The power brush floor tool works really well for me. I keep it cleaned out well after every few uses. The wands need locking joints.

PS: the packaging was perfectly silly. This little tube inside a box that was 26 inches long , 18 wide and 7 deep. It was huge ! A card board tube within another card board tube would have been plenty. I have seen many boxes a third this wide that would have worked as well.
