I bought these light bulbs to replace incandescent candelabra bulbs in a dining room chandelier. The light is brighter and the 6 bulbs use around the same amount of energy as one of the old ones. The bulbs also don't give off as much heat. A great buy.

Works flawlessly. These bulbs are bright. The bulbs do NOT hum as some CFL units can do. Company delivered very fast with no hiccups. Highly recommend.

Three out of the 6 are dead after 3 months. They were very lightly used too, very few on/off cycles. Incandescent bulbs in the same location last for many years. The rated life of these is not to be taken seriously and, in fact, appears to be a flat out lie.

I bought these expecting not to have to change them for years.
The chandelier is very high over a stairway so it's a major job to change the bulbs.

It's been only 10 months and only 2 bulbs remain lit and both of them are flickering and will go out soon.
Normal incandescents last a few years at least and cost just a fraction of what these cost.

What a waste.

Avoid Feit lightbulbs! They are crap!

I purchased 12 total bulbs (2 packs). 5 bulbs are still burning after about 3200 hours of use, the rest burned out way before that. They were all in a fixture on for about 12 hours a day.

Unbeatable price for this set of 6 (my local hardware sells one for around $7). The only problem is they take forever to light up (though I hear that's common for CFL's). Other than that, very pleased.

Costco does not seem to be carrying these any longer. Not this smaller bulb at least. I bought 6 boxes a few years ago and I was looking for more! My experience is much better than some of the others I've read. Every single bulb is still running and no flickering. Now I'm concerned about purchasing more of them. I have dropped one and broke the tuff shell but the cfl is still going. I have them outside in sconces and inside in chandeliers. Takes about 2 minutes to be fully bright so not suitable over a bathroom sink. I take out the snap ring before I screw them into the larger base just in case I want to move them to something else without the larger base. A few of the base adapters were not made well and will not make contact with the bottom of the bulb. I have plenty of extras so I just pitch the bad bases. Another reason to pull the lock ring out before attaching the larger base. These are 280 lumens for 7 watts. There's no benefit in my book to going to 2.5 watts for 110 led lumens. We have 5 short term rentals so have lots of lights and most folks that rent short term and not conscientious about their electrical usage. I've had great luck with these and other FEIT products. I've had the worst experience with the Greenlight bulbs. I bought 200 of them and have a box of 11 to go back for replacement. Greenlight foolishly had a 10 year warranty their cfls.

This bulb is a good choice for overhead fans with light kits. The shape is attractive and the glow is subdued.
