Several problems with this light:
1.There is a little plug on the wire that goes into the light. This often becomes lose and the light won't work. 2.When you turn on the light it is a dim yellow color. After a few minutes warming up the light becomes a cold blue white. 3.One of the bulbs burned out in about a month. I bought a replacement at Home Depot. That one lasted about five minutes. Replacement bulbs are $9 a pop.

Great light. Bought several. Was a little unsure about buying since there were no reviews and the picture isn't great. Love this product. Better than those halogen lights, doesn't get so hot that your worried about causing a fire or melting the fixture or shattering the glass shield which has been my experience with halogen bulbs and fixtures. Pretty easy to install, I did need a drill, but it reminded me of installing a smoke detector. I don't know if this is quite as bright as a 60W bulb, I think it falls between 25W-40W but bright enough. Each single unit comes with a plug(that has a switch) and with a connector so you can link up to three. Would gladly buy this product again. The only issue I could see with this fixture is that you need this company's bulbs to replace if one burns out, so you probably won't be able to buy this at the local store, but using Amazon it's not an issue.

I've had one of these over my sink for almost 3 years. As a light it really works well and casts a lot of light for a low electric wattage. I decided to buy another one. It appears that the electrical connections have changed since I last bought these lights since the old cords don't fit with the new ones. So, if you have an older version of these it might not connect to the new one and you'll have to plug the new one in separately.
I have had some problems with the 3-year old light. It got bumped a few times and is loose and sometimes you have to fiddle with it to get it to come on. But I like it enough that I have stuck with it. The newer light seems to be designed a little better and the bulb fits a little tighter. the contacts in the fixture for the bulb are slightly different but the bulb is identical. The lights do take about 20 seconds to warm up but they're pretty bright. I don't know how long the new bulb will last but the old one is going on 3 years.

Bought two sets of three at Lowes. The lamp to lamp plugs are tricky and if the wire is bumped you have to fool with it to make it work. One bulb burned out in less than two weeks of occasional use. Lowes doesn't stock them. On Amazon they cost more than a new fixture. Am switching to standard flourescent as these stop working.
