This bulb, and the matching orange, are wonderful. They cast such a beautiful hue in the room. Really works to create a mood. Very soft and relaxing light.

Green is a cool color for light. I like to turn this light on with the blue one and play Miles Davis "Blue In Green."

We picked 4 of these up at Lowes. I put them in my overhead light fixture and it creates a great effect. It is soothing and calming. A bit like being underwater. If I want regular light, I can just flip on my night stand light. In the meantime, I find the blue lights, which to me a are a very true blue, to be "just what the doctor ordered" for rest and relaxation. I highly recommend these.

Great bulb for crappie fishing at night. Attract minnows that in turn attract crappies. Run it with an inverter connected to your boat battery. Low power draw and bright. Draws about 1 amp from battery.

These lights produce a nicer color than regular incandescent colored light bulbs. Also, there is no coating to scratch or burn off (the coating is on the inside). These lights still get a little hot but nothing compared to a regular bulb. I also like these 'curly' lights because the light is more diffuse than a bulb with a single hot filament. Even without a lamp shade these light are OK on the eyes.

The color of this fluorescent mini bulb is a true red compared to the orange fluorescent mini bulb (which I bought as well). This bulb really sets the mood and tone of a room. The bulb is primarily used on a daily basis in a ceiling fixture and creates a nice glow across the room. I would recommend this bulb for anyone seeking to create a little glamour or naughtiness.

Awesome bulb

replaced a standard white bulb in my cheep upright room light
and transformed the light fixture and room all at once.
the effect and awesome color is unbelievable ordering more...
these bulbs are an amazing blue not overpowering cant say enough

they are also going in my outdoor light fixtures for my balconies
gives me the look of ultra modern and relaxing at the same time

Nice light to show your support for all law enforcement. Its a great bulb that is bright with and should last a long time. Get one and use it.

I haven't been able to find a (reasonably priced) bright, red LED bulb, so I tried this one despite some reviews that said it was deep orange rather than red.

It is much brighter than the two LED bulbs I've found, a 3-watt red one and the color changing one. It also looks red to me... actually redder than the 3w LED.

All in all, a nice solution, much cooler and energy-intensive than incandescents, and much brighter and cheaper than red LEDs currently.
