I love the Feit Electric NL7/LED Color changing LED Night Light. (it needs a shorter name!) I can control which color I want on, (white, red, blue, or green) or set it to constantly change colors in two different speeds. And if I need to, I can also turn it off- a feature I have noticed some brands don't give you except to unplug it.

The light is cool. I would have given it 5 stars, but you can't lock it on one color so when the colors transition, the light dims.

I like the different colors of this nightlight. It is pretty and functional. You can set it to one color or have it change colors throughout the night. I also like that it has a manual switch.

I learned, in the Marine Corps, that red light doesn't effect the rods in your eyes. The rods are your main source of night vision. I wanted a nightlight in my super dark cabin that wouldn't kill my night vision but still have me be able to see if there are any creepy dark spots crawling towards me... I dislike spiders. This light is great at giving me the perfect amount of light to get around or find my bed. The other lights are cool, and they change color if you set it to, which is easy to set. But I wanted a red light, and it works great.

Pros

Bright enough to light about 5 feet away, whole room with the white light.

The single button on the front of the light lets you cycle through various color display modes, including solid white (all LEDs lit), solid red, solid green, solid blue, red/green color shifting, and then an all-color shifting mode that transitions among the colors I mentioned before. I should mention that the solid white, solid green, and solid blue modes are quite bright at night, which is either a good or bad thing, depending on your needs.

The cool thing is that the red/green color shifting mode is great for Christmastime, and the all-color shifting mode is great for Halloween.

The only thing you may find yourself forgetting is to turn off the device during the day, since it's manually controlled.

I got this for my son who always seems to want the lights on. When the package came in I found saw that it has been broken from the inside. Still works though but disappointed to see this flaw. There are a total of 11 LED lights in the Unit itself. But still the base shouldn't be sticking out. It does as it says and has many different modes. You must cycle through the modes to turn them off and on. I would get this again if it wasn't broken. Just shows that a small compact nightlight breaks this easily through the shipping process. If you can imagine the smaller it is the more stronger it gets. All I have to say about this product.

This night light is very cool! I bought several of them and placed them all around my house for a party. My house looked like a night club!
