Great great combination of salsa and great sound for a christmas record. From the musician (every one) to Mr. Feliciano (one of the best salsa singer)you are going to enjoy it. Again one of the finest christmas salsa record of all time. The other are:
1. Willie Colon - Hector Lavoe (Asalto Navideño 1 and 2) 2. Ismael Rivera - (Feliz Navidad) 3. Sonora Ponceña - (Navidad Criolla) Let me tell you if you get this record and the other one you are going to be the envy of the BARRIO. Count on that.

An essential Cheo classic.,

Forget about ranking this album among the other Christmas albums realeased by Fania, this is a great album period. There are so many things going right for this album, from the great hard salsa, to the ultra Puerto Rican "seis chorreao" in "Mapeye", to Adalberto Santiago fitting just amazingly perfect on chorus. A dream cast of musicians such as Larry Harlow, Barretto, Bobby Valentin, Nicky Marrerro, Barry Rodgers,Bomberito Zarzuela and Roberto Roena is just mind blowing and not just on name value, but because of their performance. The album lives up to the holiday theme, but does not limit itself because of it. It is the complete opposite as it embraces the classic salsa sound and mixes very well with the musica tipica of Puerto Rico. An absolute MUST HAVE for any Cheo Feliciano fan and easily one of the best Christmas salsa albums ever, right up there with Asalto Navideño. Cheo made a truly great album here.
