The Abba-meets-the Carpenters sound of Al Bano and Romina Power is quite apparent on Felicita (1982), one of the only albums of theirs from this period to make it to America. The music is definitely novel, with kitchy touches like outer space noises and loads of reverb. For fans of the duo! 1985 reissue Gold-Serie/BMG/Ariola.

Don't tell me you do not know this one and you need me to tell you about Al Bano and Romina Power. When I heard them for the first time a few (?) years ago, I fell in love with them, with Italy, and with the world. Do I need to say more? Five stars - sorry, I do not have six.
