I think these paper doll books are wonderful. They allow my 2 daughters to use their imaginations and act out stories of their own. It keeps them busy for hours. It doesn't matter if you have read all of the books in that dolls series or not because the paper doll book comes with a mini book of your own that summarizes the entire series of each girl. Their imagination just soars from there! Each book comes with the main character plus a few extra characters and lots of outfits and accessories which all pertain to the books. They definitely need help cutting out the clothes, but once it's done, they are set forever.

This is all my 6 1/2 year old wanted for Christmas. And it met every expectation. I admit I am impressed with it as well. I was skeptical. The dolls and dresses and accessories are beautiful. Love the sticky dots. I do wish there was a better storage envelope inside, because there are so many small pieces. Also, WHY do we have to cut out our own dresses and accessories? Why can't they punch out like the dolls? It took forever for her to be able to play with her dolls, even with me, her, AND my husband cutting things out. It would have been nice to forego that task, even though I suppose it WAS a nice bonding experience.
Worth the money though, I am pleased!

Bought this for my seven year old daughter. Trust me, only an adult experienced with an exacto knife could cut out the clothing and accessories in this book. And the clothes and accessories are printed on thin slick paper.
