I discovered while setting up a new home entertainment center in the living room that I needed more outlets, but at the same time I wanted to eliminate use of an extension cord I had been using with my previous power strip, which had only a 3 foot cord. This was the perfect outlet power strip for me as the cord was heavy duty and is 15 feet long, thus not requiring me to use an extension cord. It also has a lighted power on/off switch and I like that as it allows me to determine quickly if the strip has power or not. Only drawback, not to me but perhaps to others, is that the outlets are evenly spaced, which means this strip is not the best power strip if you have a lot of power adapters you need to plug in. This was not a problem for me however as I also have a short strip designed specifically for plugging in power adapters only and I just plugged that strip into one of the outlets provided on this strip. Very happy. Would buy again! I should add this strip is not a surge protector and does not provide surge or power protection.

Worked out very well to add extra power outlets under a kitchen counter. Only downcheck is the wall plug which forces you to have 3-4" space for it and the power cord when you plug it into an outlet. A flat plug that would only stick out an inch or less would be better.

Nothing complicated, it's nice to have a long cord to reach from awkwardly located plugs

A great little power strip. You should realize though that it's not a surge protector. It does allow you a 15 foot cord, on/off switch, and 6 outlets. I recommend this in leiu of an ordinary extension cord.

Satisfied with construction quality & performance. I use these for the workplace rather than allowing people to use extension cords. Any connection point is a potential failure point so this helps reduce outages/problems/reports of issues with power to devices.

Going to seek out replacement from the company now... but honestly sure if I even want one of these back in my home. The lower 3 plugs, that are furthest from the reset, started to melt on the sides and backside of the strip! I only had a flat panel, a fiber TV box and a blue-ray plugged into it. Noticed an issue when the circuit kept popping in the breaker box. Didn't know if I was over loading it, but didn't think so. Tested 1 device at a time and they all flipped it. Pulled it down off the shelf and noticed that it was melting.

SCARY!

I ordered this power strip due to the local Fire Marshall inspecting my workplace (retail store), claiming that using "residential" extension cords for our "Open" sign doesn't follow the proper code. I was instructed to purchase a power strip with a ground, and 15ft cord. I ordered it, and received it (2) business days later. It works as described, and was a quick and easy procedure.

The Power Strip arrived today (26 Oct 2011). I plugged it in and no problems are all. the cord is long enough to go around my space so no one can trip. Great Power Strip.

The device seems to have above average construction: the cord is good and thick and the product works exactly as intended. It's far preferable than plugging a surge protector into an extension cord since most cheap extension cords do not use a thick enough gauge wire to handle the draw that most people put on surge protectors.

Only major drawback is the plug configuration (which I knew about before purchasing) For the price, it would greedy to expect more than the standard 6-in-a-row, but it can be a bit of a pain if you have chunky AC adapters to deal with.

I love the length of the chord, but that was about all I could say that I loved.

Only two of the outlet plugs actually worked - the other ones, I, for some reason, couldn't get any plug to go into! Definitely a strange issue.
