5.0 out of 5 stars It is perfect only if you are using brain wash
I am using IPAQ and this is the perfect protection for any Pocket PC. This thin film protects screen and improve to write regconition. The other two reviews don't like this product, then I hegitate to buy this. But, they are wrong. It is perfect mattch. And, there is no bubble if you are using brain wash first. I used this without brain wash, so I got many bubbles...

3.0 out of 5 stars So so...
Writerights are great protectors and definetely improve handwriting. On the other hand, they do reduce the brilliance and sharpness of the display! The other downfall, is that they don't seem to quite last a month if you use your PDA constantly like I do. They scuff up very easily and need changed often.

IT is perfect for you PDA

3.0 out of 5 stars Not that Great, June 13, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Fellowes 98026 Writeright for Pocket PC (Office Product)
This protects nice, make it easier to write, but it's got air bubbles all over the place when I tried to put it on... you either need a lot of practice or live with the bubbles.. it could also be that I suck at putting it on.

4.0 out of 5 stars A sticky way to protection, October 16, 2002

Write Right screen protectors are handy, effective, and a real pain to install.
I'm not a microsurgeon, but I've been working with electronics for thirty years and I thought putting on a thin piece of plastic would be a cinch!
WRONG!
In the first place, your screen must be immaculate or you'll end up with tiny bumps to mess up your writing and drag-and-drop technique. Do you know what to use to clean your screen? Neither do I. Everyone has a different idea about what's safe, and what will damage the screen. I've been using a glasses cleaner that my optician gave me and it works better than anything else I've tried. (The screen hasn't turned purple or stopped working either!)
The most important thing is to use a LINT-FREE cloth! Lens tissue works, but I don't like the feel. My optician helped there too! Soft, felt-like material that seems to have no weave.
Anyway, once you have the clean screen you can make an attempt. Follow the directions in the package...so simple! Line up an edge, carefully pulling it off the backing...darn! Crooked again!
Start over...Rats! One more time...close enough. Use the card to squish out the bubbles...okay. What's that stuff under the corner? Dirt? BR>You get the idea!
Once you get one on, be careful of the card! You can snag the film and tear it. I have yet to put on a protector without at least one tiny chunk of grit under it!
They do write smooth! My wife (who can put a protector on in ten seconds flat, no problems) uses a ball point pen as a stylus about half the time. She changes out protectors when she can't see through the ink any more.
We both will NOT use our PDA's without the screen protectors. They are more than worth the investment and the hassle of getting them on right.

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid Protection, May 14, 2008

I have trusted the Fellowes WriteRight line on my last 3 PDA's. Previously I used a hard green plastic cover that worked but was diminished the screen contrast quite a bit. This is different. The soft plastic is much like the type you peel off the front of new digital displays. I find they last for months even with heavy usage and do not diminish brightness or clarity to any great degree.

The only thing one must watch out for is the bubbling if the screen is put on carelessly. This is really annoying. An excellent product that only misses 5 stars due to the price for something so simple and inexpensive to make and distribute.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works for all SCREENS!, December 30, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Fellowes 98026 Writeright for Pocket PC (Office Product)
THis works Great. Fellowes made a great product this time. it surly protects the screen, and it makes the device look like you just took it out of the box. It works great on my dads iPAQ and if your and iPod user it works even better! when i used it on the my iPOD, I was able to cover the whole thing! it also works for cell phones, video/Cameras, And PSP's (playstation portable)! It also comes with a Special little Squweegee card that helps prevent Air bubbles! However it takes about one or two hours to install it (very frustrating) if your a first time user. Otherwise its a great product!

Claims to fit Casio Cassiopeias and other Pocket PC PDAs. Had to cut it to fit my Cassiopeia. It does protect the screen well although it does get marked up pretty quickly. As well it is had to get off cleanly and the put another one on.

4.0 out of 5 stars no label on it now, September 6, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Fellowes 98026 Writeright for Pocket PC (Office Product)
I bought 98048 (for ipaq) from CompUSA. No trademark on it.
It's a little bit small for the screen, and difficult to paste
it on without any bubble. It protects the screen anyway.

2.0 out of 5 stars Can't stand that label at the bottom of the protector, June 9, 2001

I think that it is terrible that Fellows put a label at the bottom of this protector. Protectors are great as long as they are not obstructing the view of the screen. Unfortunately, Fellows didn't think that was very important.

Plus the bubbles are really hard to get our, but that is the same problem with all screen covers that I have seen.

takes a lot of practice to get these on without bubbles or lint. Clean screen thoroughly, wash your hands, have tweezers ready. Makes it MUCH easier to write on the screen because it's much less slick, and every time you scratch one of these, you get the satisfaction of knowing you just saved your screen from that scratch. It will happen so often you'll be amazed.
