Comfortable, and keeps it's shape,

After reviewing so many mouse pads for comfort for a long period of time I took a chance and ordered this pad. It is soft and comfortable yet the memory pad springs back into shape after using it for long periods of time. The mouse glides easily over the pad. The pad is made with a firm texture pad over a memory foam base, that is easy to wipe off but is flexible and holds it's shape no matter what it rests on. I sometimes use mine in bed on my mattress without a problem with my laptop.

This is my favorite mouse pad. It's the perfect size, super comfy on the wrist, and stays put on table surface. Looks nice too. Bought this for home, and will buy for work as well.

This is now my second Fellowes Memory foam Mouse Pad purchase. I had first purchased a black Fellowes pad back in 2007 because I had injured the Lunate bone in my right wrist in a slip/fall and a chronically painful callous had eventually formed. The injury was being aggravated by my daily computer usage and it didn't begin to properly heal until I began using this particular mouse pad. I also found that this pad was smaller than my previous mouse pad and it took some getting accustomed to by restricting my overly broad mouse movements. But I'm now hooked on this pad and have purchased another memory foam mouse pad for another computer. They are very comfortable and durable. This pad also stays put and never slips from it's positioning.

Let me start with the comment that I really wanted to like this mouse pad and I tried several times to make it work for me. However, sometimes it is not to be. The mouse pad size is 20 cm wide and 16 cm high. My 3M Precise Mousing Surface is 22 cm wide and 16.5 cm high. Measurements are from the widest point of the mouse pad and from the start of the wrist rest to the top of the mouse pad. The 3M mouse pad is wider near the top, which is where your mouse will most likely be. I found myself constantly having to reposition my mouse because the mouse would be at the left/right edge of the mouse pad, but the screen cursor still needed to move left-right for my intended action. The mouse pad felt very small to me. That being said, the mouse pad surface was excellent for my optical mouse. My cursor fine movement was better on the Fellows than the 3M.
The deal killer was the memory foam wrist pad. Previously I have not experienced any sort of wrist pain from mouse movement. However, after 30 minutes with the Fellows mouse pad, my wrist started to hurt. I assumed that I had poor wrist placement so I walked away and returned a little later. After some time at the computer, my wrist resumed hurting. Again I walked away and after 20 - 30 minutes, I returned and tried to carefully situate my wrist on the pad. Once again, the pain returned after 30 or so minutes. Finally, I returned to my 3M pad and there was no more wrist pain. I thought that the memory foam was supposed to distribute the weight of your wrist so that it eliminated pain. For me, it did the opposite. It is too bad, because I wanted to like the Fellows wrist pad.

The reviews sounded all good but I found the memory foam wrist pad too hard for my wrist, creating uncomfortable pressure. Also, the surface of the mouse pad provided too much friction for easy gliding of the mouse.
Addendum: I returned the first wrist rest and the replacement is much more comfortable. Maybe the foam was old? I notice that the memory foam warms up to body temperature and conforms well to my wrist. Since my wrist is comfortable the mouse is gliding just fine. Thanks to Amazon for the replacement.

No complaints on the Fellowes memory foam mouse pad. It works especially well on my glass computer desk without any slippage, ever! The memory foam is comforting on my wrist and I think, I'll repeat think I've noticed a little less fatigue when pulling a long session at the computer. For the price I'd buy another.

My old pad was similar to this one in size but had a jell wrist rest. I had a couple of tears in the wrist rest and the jell was oozing out making it uncomfortable to work with. I decided to give the memory foam a try and so far it has worked out well.
I found the memory foam to be quite comfortable to work on. It's not to soft or hard, I guess firm would be the right word. It has a smooth nylon cover over it which feels very comfortable. My jell pad was a bit softer but felt sticky since the area where you wrist rests was plastic. The bottom of this pad is made of a soft plastic which sticks to to my desktop exceptionally well, no chance of this pad sliding. This pad is fairly small, the mouse working surface is 7 3/4 wide by 6 1/2 in. And the wrist rest is 6 1/2 wide by 2 1/2 in. Even though the working area seems small I have no problem getting my curser across my 22 in. screen with my fairly large Microsoft laser mouse. Seems like a exellent pad to me, so 5 stars it is. This pad has had large price swings almost daily recently, so keep your eye on it for a better price.

Great pad. It has a semi-rigid tracking surface, not foam or cloth so i expect it to last quite a bit longer. The foam wrist rest is terrific. The bottom is soft rubber that virtually "sticks" to my desk. To move it I have to pull it off the surface and move it. There is no way this would ever move around on it's own. My only criticism (and really not a fair one since the dimensions were in the description) is that the mouse surface is a little small. My Microsoft Comfort Mouse covers approximately 40% of the surface. With two monitors, I frequently have to pick the mouse up to track all the way across. Of course I could adjust the track speed but I'm used to it now. If you have a smaller mouse this would be a perfect pad. If they make this same model with a larger pad, I would recommend it over this.

I've been using this along with a gel keyboard wrist rest and after about a month now can honestly say it has helped. My wrists were always stiff and hurt often, a simple turn of the wrist would make them pop. These symptoms are all much better now. Wishing I had been using this for years.
