i've had this mouse for, oh, i don't know, maybe 4 years, and have never had a problem with it. im 13, and usually rough on my things, but this mouse it virtually indestructible.
a great gift, birthday present, and purchase in general.

I have used the Fellowes handheld trackball mouse for years. Its outstanding characteristic is the ability to use the mouse without the need for a desktop, thereby making it an excellent travel companion. Other imitations are flimsy and don't track properly. Its drawback is that its durability is finite, but I would buy ten Fellowes rather than go back to a desktop mouse.

I have used these for years with my laptop and the last time I purchased another brand because I could not find one by Fellowes. But they were not near as good as the ones fellowes used to make.
