5.0 out of 5 stars Easiest To Work With
I have tried several brands of CD and DVD Labels - Memorex, Avery, etc., and the Fellowes labels are by far the best in terms of quality and ease of use. These labels don't curl up and make it difficult to apply to a CD or DVD, and they hold a print pretty well over time.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not heat-proof
I used dozens of these labels until I found that they come unstuck in the heat inside the car CD player. It cost me $45.00 to have the dealer fix it! I emailed Neato and was told that this is a problem, they have no resolution, and I could use a mineral or citrus based product to remove the labels. They had no plans to produce a heat-resistant product...

This review is from: Fellowes Neato Matte CD/DVD Labels (Model 99945, 300-Count) (Office Product)
I have tried several brands of CD and DVD Labels - Memorex, Avery, etc., and the Fellowes labels are by far the best in terms of quality and ease of use. These labels don't curl up and make it difficult to apply to a CD or DVD, and they hold a print pretty well over time.

I particularly found the Avery labels horrible to work with - they had seams in the label from manufactured cuts in the backing that 1) made them hard to peel from the backing, and 2) left the prints on the labels with visible lines running through the print.

This is very unsatisfactory. Surely with all the adhesives available today, they could find one appropriate to this application.

1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY~~~, February 12, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Fellowes Neato Matte CD/DVD Labels (Model 99945, 300-Count) (Office Product)
I have used over 400 of these labels. I never could figure out WHY all my CD's would make horrible scratching noises after about 20 minutes of playing. Well I have finally found the answer. After the heat of the CD player begins to get hotter, the GLUE on the CD label begins to shift, and rise. This causes the small tolerance of the Cd Player to cause the Cd Player to malfunction. I discovered this because a friend just bought a new cd player and told me the cd I made him started scratching and causing the CD player to shut down. Interesting because this was the same as mine. When it happened to me again, I replaced the Fellowes label cd with a Non labeled CD and suddenly just seconds after I couldn't stand the Scratching noise of the Fellowes Labeled CD the Identical Non Label played for hours without a SINGLE PROBLEM... DO NOT BUY.... 3years and 400+ labels later, fellowes still hasn't improved their product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good value, excellent labels, August 2, 2005

I've used over 1000 of these labels and have never had one peel off or cause my data, music, or video burns to become unusable. The labels are finished well (not too glossy or matte).

1.0 out of 5 stars Labels keep causing paper jams, do not align right, February 20, 2009
This review is from: Fellowes Neato Matte CD/DVD Labels (Model 99945, 300-Count) (Office Product)
I bought these labels hoping to save money by buying in bulk. However, about half the time I tried to print on these labels, the printer would jam (it's a brand new printer and does not jam in spite of heavy use in our business which professionally prints pictures). I tried it several different ways and I had two other people try. Even when it does work, it does not align right, probably because of the paper getting caught or not coming through the printer right. The money you save is not worth your extra time. And only 1 or 2 out of 10 ended up being usable.

What makes me more angry is that when I complained to customer service and asked for a refund, they said they have thousands of happy customers and have never heard of this complaint before (basically implying that this must be my fault). They agreed to refund my money on a prorated basis on the ones I did not use, never mind that so many labels were destroyed or jammed or misaligned in printing. I spent $12 to mail them back 90% of the labels, and received 50% of my money back ($22.50). So I only ended up getting $10 on the $50 I spent. This is because, as they claim, this complaint is unusual and they never heard of this happening to anyone before. But as you can see, there are other very similar complaints and other 1-star reviews on this product right here on this site.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fellowes Neato Matte 300-Count is "Neat-O", February 23, 2006
This review is from: Fellowes Neato Matte CD/DVD Labels (Model 99945, 300-Count) (Office Product)
I was burning up alot of time and gas buying the 100-count of Fellowes Neato Matte CD/DVD Labels when I learned about the 300-count package size. What a big savings on the 300-count, I saved 40% and no more running around. The only thing better is the 500-count.

They look great at normal print setting. No smearing. Have only had them bubble under VERY hot conditions. Great deal. Just remember to store them flat or the edges will be curled up by the time you go thru all 300 of them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Labels, May 6, 2005
This review is from: Fellowes Neato Matte CD/DVD Labels (Model 99945, 300-Count) (Office Product)
I've used hundreds of these labels & never had a problem. I've used other brands & they've had air bubbles & after a while 'wrinkled', rendering the CD no good. So I continue to use Fellowes Neato.

5.0 out of 5 stars Is this 2up or 3up sheets?, July 9, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Fellowes Neato Matte CD/DVD Labels (Model 99945, 300-Count) (Office Product)
Not clear from this product description if it is a laser printer specific sheet (3up) or, compatible with inket (2up)?? Neato CD labels are excellent labels, never had one peel off the disc, BTW.
