Much more solid and well-built than you might expect. It is almost all metal, not plastic like you'd expect.

But, I pulled it out of the box, loosened the adjustment screw, and found it didn't even come close to fitting over my cube wall. Frustrated, I set it down and got doing something else when I looked over and noticed that the part that goes over the back of the wall looked like it could be flipped around. Then I bothered to look at the sheet of instructions and confirmed that yes, you can remove the adjustment screw and flip that part around to accommodate larger cube walls. Guess I should have checked the directions from the beginning. :)

Seems quite sturdy, should be able to hold just about anything you'd want to hang on it.

The wall (partition) in my cubile is 3.25" thick and this hook is wide enough to handle that. You will have to unscrew the bracket and then use the other end for wider walls. If that doesn't make sense now, it will when you receive it. Very sturdy metal. Great value for the $ and looks professional - in my opinion.

I work in a cube and sometimes need to bring a jacket to work, an umbrella, etc. Rather then putting the jacket on my chair where it often falls off I was looking for a good hanger that I could use. The design of this hook caught my attention because it's so small. In other words, it's a clamp that is fully adjustable to fit most cubicle walls and the jacket hanger flips down when you need to use it and when you aren't using it you can flip it back closed so it's not sticking out. Now it only sticks out a tiny bit so you won't bump it accidentally even when it's open because it's very compact but effective. I also love that it is VERY sturdy, it's not plastic and won't break if you hang a heavy leather jacket on it, it's a tough hook.

You WILL need to bring your own hanger if you want a hanger, although you don't need a hanger to use this.

Our staff really likes this hook as it is compact and folds up nicely when not in use. The clip part is not as strong as I would have hoped but it does hold light items well. I had a concern with other hooks being a little more on the sharp side and potentially being at eye level being a safety issue. We are now ordering one for every workstation at the company.

It is very well-made for a partition hook compared to most other products I've seen. The hook is stable and there is padding on the clamp to protect the partition finish. As mentioned in other reviews, look at the directions to see how to flip the attachment hook. My partition is 2.5" thick, larger than average, and the hook sufficiently covered the span to solidly clamp. I highly recommend this product.

This worked great on my unusually thick cubicle wall. It was a little hard to assemble, but once I got a phillips head screwdriver and kind of flipped it over, it extended far enough to work well. It's still holding up like new after about 4 months of use.

Sturdy and well built. I was pleased it was able to hold up a jacket and a winter coat.

I misordred thinking i was getting an over the partition coat hook and hanger. The "hook" and "clip" wasn't anything like i wanted. If i recall the picture showed a coat hook, hanger and the clip. But never hit me that i was only ordering the clip. First item i've encountered with amazon as far as not at all what i wanted. Normally, amazon clearly shows you the item you are getting. Didn't cost enough to warrant returning.
